I went to Ben Avery. www.azgfd.gov/outdoor_recreation/basf_facilities_ranges.shtmlArrived at 0800 and attended an Arizona Conceal Carry Class and took the written and range. (This was not my first time at the Rodeo Soldiers) Troops, you would have been proud of your General Chaindriven. 100% on the written test and 99% during the range qualification. Qualification is 10 shots, at a silhouette target, at seven yards or approx. 21 feet. The ten ring is center chest about the size of a tennis ball. During the range portion, I shot my trusty XD9. The second to the last round, I broke concentration for a split second and drop my shot just low & right, a hair outside the 10 ring... for a finial score of 99, of a possible 100. ( I tried not to show it, but was a bit upset with myself ) After passing the course, your finger printed and all required forms are completed right there. Arizona follows the castle doctrine and has a 'Constitutional Carry' law that allows any adult to defend themselves on your property or vehicle or carry concealed in public. However by going through the CCW permit process, that allows the holder more privileges and less restrictions when carrying in establishments that serve alcohol.

Thanks. I'm sure you can. I tell my clients....when it comes to competition or defensive shooting. Remember that it is a perishable skill, it must be practiced regularly.
