Which .40 would you buy Glock 23, or Walther P99QA military .40S&W, which would you choose?

Some don't like them but I happen to like Glocks. Any reason you are looking at .40s?

Eather that or .45auto, just the pic of the draw, and I like the way the G23 feels in my hand.

The way a gun feels in my hand is a huge factor in my decision making process. I've found that comfort greatly improves my accuracy. I'm sure there will be many in agreement.

Yeah, if a gun doesn't feel right you are apt to shoot it less often and therefore you won't be as good of a shot with it. If choosing between to high quality guns you should pick the one that "fits" you the best.

I have a couple of XDs so if I were to get a.40 That's what I'd get.
The best I can say is handle as many as you can, and shoot what you can to get a good idea of what you like.

I would definately recommend the Colt Commander Model in .45. It is compact and extremely well made. I have the Combat Commander Model but it is pretty much the same gun and I love mine.. The Commander sells anywhere from 500 to 800 bucks...
